android - medium - Barra de progresso ao carregar a imagem usando o Glide

Posso carregar um controle giratório no espaço reservado com animação rotativa até que a imagem seja carregada usando o Glide?

Eu estou tentando fazer isso usando .placeholder (R.Drawable.spinner) nenhuma animação está chegando?

Seria ótimo se alguém pudesse me ajudar?

Eu estava escrevendo um aplicativo em Kotlin e estava tendo exatamente esse problema, mas, infelizmente, a resposta aceita foi em Java. Então, eu reescrevi em Kotlin.

Outro truque: Coloque seu ImageView dentro de um RelativeLayout com um ProgressBar por trás dele. Em seguida, carregue a imagem via Glide ou Picasso. Ele fará o trabalho por você sem nenhuma escavação profunda. Você não precisa mais ocultar ou mostrar a barra de progresso. Será totalmente sobreposto pela imagem.

Resposta antiga: Você também pode criar um ProgressBar normal e depois ocultá-lo no onResourceReady() do Glide.

O método que será chamado quando o carregamento do recurso for concluído.
